Timeline

Here are some time considerations you may have questions about.

Time for an examination:
When you call our office for an initial appointment it’s called an examination. We schedule exclusive time for you at one of three times of the day: early morning, end of the morning, or end of the day.
Time to start:
Treatment can usually be started after an examination within days to weeks. Certain records are needed prior to treatment to ensure health and the optimum plan.
Time of treatment:
Treatment time depends on its type and difficulty.  This time may vary from weeks to years, depending on the treatment objectives (see Treatment Options).
Time between appointments:
Patients in braces and Invisalign are usually seen every 4 to 6 weeks. This may vary somewhat based on individual needs.
Time of payment:
Payment is typically done over the estimated treatment time.  No interest charges are made for paying over time.
